Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It makes use of AI to identify objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It has a sleek, high-end piece that looks like toys rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal It also self-empties which will cut down your cleaning time.

In  best vacuums  performed quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it all over the floor. It even was able to capture sand and small gravel which other robots can't. And it did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, although not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, it's an option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with various additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock produces several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't fail to impress. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it lacks some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or change the room's label.

If you select the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place it can be done without difficulty. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessity for most people but it can aid in keeping the track of your robot's maintenance intervals with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and can be hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes various tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tried that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.

While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price cost.

If you're looking to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of alternatives available, including a lot of eufy models for substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper, but offers more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpet floors, as well as a mopping function at an affordable price. It's simple to set up, just connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located near an outlet with plenty of room to move.

The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it will be placed under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious when compared to rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The primary feature that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it's time to recharge, it automatically returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it started.

The eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
